Hi Daphne -- thanks for a fscinating talk! You talk about "red light" and "blue light" sensitive genes -- are these two separate genes? I would expect more red light at dawn, and blue light later -- and the reverse at dusk -- do they work together to distinguish dawn and dusk at all?
ReplyDeleteI see you do some work to "condense" your network. I wonder if the "lumping" technique Jon Ward talks bout in is presentation is applicable?
ReplyDeleteI'm fascinated by the time sampling approach, to minimise measurements. Don't you still have the same problem of having to measure loads of cases at a given timepoint, it's just that there are now fewr timepoints?
ReplyDeleteAlso, you show that certain curves won't be well-sampled. Are you confident those curves won't occur?
